Dublin, Ohio

If I have the honor conferred upon me to name your village, with the brightness of the morn, and the beaming of the sun on the hills and dales surrounding this beautiful valley, it would give me great pleasure to name your  new town after my birthplace, Dublin, Ireland.” – John Sells.

Dublin Ohio boasts over 1000 acres of parkland, including 39 defined parks and 77 bike trails. Dublin City Schools, elementary through high school have been nationally recognized for academic and athletic achievement. A late 90s documentary by Bill Moyer listed Dublin schools as the best in the country. Among great schools and beautiful parks, Dublin maintains its Irish heritage with an annual festival, the Irish Fest. And of course, Dublin is the place to be in central Ohio on St. Patrick’s Day. It is the home of the “Golden Bear” and proudly hosts a little annual PGA tournament called “The Memorial”. The course at Muirfield has also hosted several LPGA events as well as multiple Rider Cups.

More than half of Dublin residents are married and nearly 75% have a college education. Dublin is continually recognized as one of the safest cities in Ohio and one of the Top 100 Safest Cities in America.  And in 2014, it was ranked in a survey by Movoto Real Estate as the Happiest Place to Live in the nation.  Who wouldn’t want to live here?
